The Denver terminal has LOT's of chains in the Prequal bay in the shop.

I got to ATD @ 11:45 and left around 1:30. If you saw a black Cascadia with a Swift trailer it was me, not many in the fleet.

Here in OKC. PPLAN for PU in morning and take to Opelousa for a drop, then pu another going to Elwood, IL and then grap another and take to Cinci for Monday if I have the hours. If not drop early Tuesday and then home. Talk about stacked up and end up with 2600 miles for 5 days, and all 3 loads are under 15K. Fighting this wind all the way from Rockport down here, and the hills of I-44, whopping 6.5mpg

Final night in the Best Western near the Gary terminal! Been here since early Last Thursday but am finally an official Swift Flatbed Company Driver. So glad all this is behind me now. Ready to get my truck and a load towards the house tomorrow.

Lady K and Lepton1 Thank this.

I will have to take a look in the bags and see what I got, I could always unload them into my car for the time being which stays on the dc property for my personal errands.

Darn, my chains are still in the nice little white bags in the side box.

Wish I could say the same. I've had to chain twice this winter and have to wait out the chain requirement 2 other times.

Frank, if you want/need some chains let me know the next time you're in Phoenix. I have several pair in my garage.

My chains are strictly for decoration which is why I won't spend money to replace the stolen ones although I would gladly buy the beers when I catch up with Jakob. I carry them solely for those states that like to celebrate winter by dragging out the snow chains. I tried out a new stay out of the snow strategy this winter and have averaged 3120 miles a week since the day after Thanksgiving with the exception of two weeks ago when I took three days off in Las Vegas.

I'm in one of my favorite places, Laredo, heading for NC then PA with a stack back south to NOLA. I'm liking the Command loads. A lot.
