Thanks Matt, the only other question I have is when they do a background check how far do they go back? I had a misdemeanor 23 years ago that I just remembered. Will that matter?

 

there is nothing on the application about background, but I will certainly tell them about it if asked.

hey matt!! it went pretty good out with lee. ive pretty much got it all down for the most part anyway. i am glad that part is all over to be honest, i start on my own this coming saturday. its going to take some getting use to, sleeping in the truck and all. it was worth the wait though its going to be a good fit for me. its the last job im going to have.

Hi guys, haven't been on here this week been kinda busy. Went on Tues. for my interview, pre trip road test. Went great, then went for physical and failed. High sugar!!!! I was floored, had no idea. Was disqualified from this group but the good news is they are going to post a new opening at a DC closer to me this week. HR told me to re-apply this week and get my sugar under control. So kind of a set back, but I'm still up-beat. I will be a part of this family soon.

 

they told me to get under control and re-apply, said they want me to come work for them. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel welcome. What a great group of people. My only worry is if I have to go on medication I will have to get enough to last until I get insurance. None of that was discussed, so I don't know how long before you are eligible for it. Looked into cobra already, that's expensive.
