Parked Here for the Night

I'm "at home" in Terrell because my qualcomm took a crap at the Cleburn Walmart DC and I forgot if I had enough hours to drive from Cleburn to Terrell to get my last drop off tomorrow, so I drove home as fast as my little truck would go. Otherwise, I'd be taking an 8 or 10 on the street leading into Walmart. It needs to have the OS repaired or have the chip reflashed (missing/corrupt Sql .dll file) according to the tech support people. We'll see how that goes.

 

At home and I can't sleep , WTF this sucks , so used to driving most of the night I can't even sleep... ughhh

 

Same here can't wait to get back in the truck

This really is a lifestyle you just have to get used to....


Lol. Good thing I am used to 4 or 5 hrs of sleep cause I go #### to do tomorrow. Hahahah

 

What's wierd is I have no problems getting up on the road and rolling out at 0500. But the week I was home taking care of the girls I was having a hell of a time getting my fat ### out of bed to make breakfast and pack my youngest daughter's lunch.

 

I always seem to wake up early. To me it's great cause the World seems to be a calm,peaceful and serene place I'm happy to be in... At least until others start showing up in it.

 

Made it to Iowa Park,TX for my pick up that is not until 1800 but was put right into a door, and getting loaded. Then I take it to Cactus where I pick up my Norcross load which isn't due out till Sunday morning, but hopefully it will be ready when I get there or after my 10 hr break. Then guess I'll be parked back at the house again. Doesn't deliver till Tuesday. I may have to take a refresher course all this home time I'm getting. I also don't do well in a King size bed. I just cant seen to stay in one place. Glad the wifey doesn't sleep like me. Guess I get to enjoy my real bed until the light turns green. We back quiet!!

 

Made it to Cactus before I was even due to pick up the load I dropped off. For a minute and if all the cards fell into place I was going to be able to make it back to okie city, b4 my time ran out. Buttt load is not ready. Its in a door and now my 14 hr clock is eating up my time. Plus they have me routed for fuel in Amarillo, I usually take the back roads. Tried to get fuel on the yard, but the machine is not set up to put trip number in. I guess the local guys don't need a trip number shux. So guessing I'll take my 8 or 10 hr break here and be in the city before breakfast is over at mickey d's. Also another late delivery in Norcross 1600 Tuesday. Didn't have an apt time on first preplan. So might not leave out till Monday. If the wife doesn't kick me out b4 then.

 

If wifey poo kicks you out,im sure its for good reason.
