how many of these blocks can you haul on a flat bed? or step deck (legally) the blocks are 4.long 2.ft wide 1.5 ft high. they weight just under 13,lbs each made of plastic and they inter lock. just like a Lego block.
their 6,800 blocks to be hauled how many truck loads ?
also their 57, plts all under 500 lbs no more than 6.5 high best to be ship by van how many van loads?
all this must be ship from winfield,KS to las vegas in 7 days. how many truck are needed?

48,000 pounds is max weight flatbed loads are figured on.

so you do the math on 48,000. or as close as you can get without going over. then figure out how many trucks your going to need. :biggrin_25519:

on a stepdeck with 40' or longer bottom deck

    bottom deck 10 long x 4 wide x 7 high = 280

    top deck 2 long x 4 wide x 5 high = 40

    total of 320 blocks x 13 lbs = 4160 lbs.

would be a little extra room if you wanted to get creative.

    on a 48' flat

    12 long x 4 wide x 5 tall = 240 blocks @ 3120 lbs.

(a flat with a 60" deck or less you could go 6 tall for 288 blocks @ 3744 lbs.)

sooo, 6800 blocks would go on 28-1/3 48' flatbed loads, 24 flatbeds with 60" or lower deck, or 21 - 1/4 stepdeck loads.

keep in mind if these need tarps you would need long drops for 14' tall loads. also it may be possible to get more on a 53' step if you want to get a little creative turning some sideways to use up the extra 2' on top deck, or might be able to go 6 high on top deck, and or stack some sideways to use extra 3' of bottom.

You can either go 12(48'trailer) or 13 blocks long(53' trailer), 4 blocks wide and 6 blocks high. So either 24x12=288 or 24x13=312 per load. If you use a step you might get 3/4 of another row on (36 blocks) so my guess is 20 trucks.

good thing you're not a broker, because you'd probably need 22 flats @ $2.00-$2.50/mile minimum and 3 vans @ $2.00/mile. costing you $69,000 to get the job done. you just lost $20,000 !! and I'm being optimistic, you will probably find many flats won't go to Vegas for less than $3/mile.
