To get your credit up, pay your bills before the due date for one year. My credit score is around 800.

can someone tell me what UPFRONT money is needed other than down payment. I've been reading that u have to get insurance on it (I'm assuming physical damage incase of an accident etc). is there anything else? do they give a temp tag to get home with the truck?

there's a lot more factors involved. and since we know nothing about his credit history.
there's only 3 categories that can help credit. (mtg, auto, credit cards) yet everything else keep it down. for any type of debt.

for 7 years i was using truecredit.com. now i'm looking for a different sight. as the price has gone up and the sight has gotten to be a joke. they now charge for 3 bureaus but you only get 2.

have a line of credit cards. if you can't get credit. try the secured way with a savings account to back it up. after 2 years you get your money back and the card becomes unsecured. having zero balance on a card gives you the biggest boost on score. having it maxed out will drop it like a mountain.

i have 3 cards. when they're maxed out. my score is 500. when they're zeroed out. my score passes 700.

2 years ago, i paid off all my debt. i saw maybe 10 point improvement. but i only had 7g in debt.

Length of accounts is another big factor in score. So many things come into play.
