I have to say that that post was from someone that most likely refused loads and dispatch put him on the bottom of the list. The word no has to be removed from your vocabulary. The winters are very cold but just dress warm. 5 layers of clothes with insulated bibs and a nice quilt lined jacket and it feels fine. If the poster always said yes but in other ways pissed off dispatch you better believe it they will mark him as unreliable

Either that or a disgruntled ex-employee, something along those lines. Which there are a lot of out here as you know. I know Mbi isn't perfect but it's a solid company that I will back even after I leave. They have some dumb stuff like everyone else but at the end of the day I feel like you are treated fairly and if you keep your noise to the grind stone, do your best and don't spill/wreck you'll get raises on time and given some slack when you do screw up.

total b.s. I will second that!

does mbi only have work in n dakota???

The fact that you have MBI's logo as your avi and you bumped a 2-year old thread just to try and discredit someone who gave a less-than-stellar opinion about MBI doesn't make you look great either... in fact, it makes you look like a shill for them.
He's allowed to have his own opinion too, and frankly, his viewpoint about MBI is one I hear A LOT more than yours. -
I worked for an O/O when I first came, hauling side dump. He robbed me and a friend of mine blind by not paying us. It was our stupidity but we have both since found great careers with 2 different companies. We have been here going on 3 years and there are some really good companies up here, the main thing is just show up for work, do your job and stay safe and you will be fine with most any company.

he never worked for MBI or indicated he had anything other than 2nd hand information. You can read anything I've said when anyone asks my opinion, there are plenty of points with MBI that I do not like but obvious misinformation needs to be corrected. I'm pretty sure every trucking company has people who dislike it and loyalist. If he had just said that he didn't care for this or that, it's his personal opinion and I have nothing for that but there is plenty of work and hours.

Yea, but like the man said, how much of that are you spending on housing, gas, and food.... I've been looking at coming out there or maybe texas here shortly but haven't decided wether I should try to find a power only company and go up with my truck or work for someone. Also haven't decided exactly where either but I know I'd like to be as close to Houston as possible but will prob not be all that close. Hey buddy, if you don't mind me asking, what's ur pay rate? Is it hourly or %? Trying to give myself best advantage ya know. Read one guys post said, "some ppl go to the oil fields to drive for 14 bucks an hour, while others go to make 25 an hour". Thanks ma
