Compared to what it used to be New York is calm. So is Philly and Boston anymore. Dallas and Atlanta??? Forget about it. But after Giuliani and 9/11, NYC is a pretty safe place to be anymore. Guliani and Bloomberg really did a good job at making it a better place, and if the new mayor has a brain in his head he will continue the trend. Stop & Frisk= less crime. I would walk the streets of the south Bronx counting my money before I would attempt that in Atlanta!

I won't even walk the streets here in Baltimore, must be getting better up there.

No. I lived there, in Staten Island for a while. I grew up between Philly, Jersey and NYC. I seriously get a little unnerved in some of these places where there's nobody and nothing and I see some stuff out of deliverance, seriously. Plus I have a bit of an accent (so I've been told) and I get some real nasty looks from some of them. NYC and surrounding areas are where I feel the most safe and content.pattyj said: ↑When you first delivered to NYC wasn't you a bit scared?Click to expand...
