Here in the next few months Carpenter Technology will begin operation in Alabama. Have any of you hauled into or out of there recently? Good, bad experiences? Any help is appreciated.

I used to haul stainless bars from Talley Metals (actual manufacturer) in S.C. to Carpenter in Ontario, Ca. They were like any metal whse. it just depends on the guy unloading you. One guy, "Nick" would have you unloaded inside of 30 minutes but he retired. :biggrin_2553:

    SGTSmokdU Thanks this.

Carpenter is opening a pretty good size mill here. I assume it's pretty much the same deal as the Nucors, AKs and the like. Do they have a dedicated broker it do they handle it themselves? Is there an equipment requirement?

I'm not sure what their primary product will be.
