@Prairie Boy, Do you know if things like a moose bumper and apu, would count under GVW, or they (AB, SK) would allow for those over the permissible GVW?
-
I think they count towards gross. But well worth it.
NRG Thanks this. -
Yeah I figured they won't give us a break with those like the US does. Still gonna put them on.

My current ride is a 2013 T800, ISX, 18, 13,200 front axle, Magnum bumper and it is about the same. Mine has twin 135 gal fuel tanks that are staggered; left side behind battery box, right side all the way forward with a big gap and then the DEF tank (which, of course, can't be reached by any of the DEF pump hoses so you either need to fill with 2.5 gal containers (2x or more cost), hit the fuel island in the wrong direction, or use the hose for the pump lane next to you on the right).NRG Thanks this.

What would you guys suggest for the wheelbase? My spec fit's everything that I need (72" sleeper, T&E on hydraulics pump, tool box and a small generator apu) into 226" and that's with 260gl. of total fuel volume and a medium size def tank. My friends T800 same spec runs a 236", but has a big gap between the tanker and a sleeper that I don't really like. Should I opt for the 236"? How's the T800 ride quality with similar wheel bases. Any ideas?

Just remember that the law has changed out this way. You can now run a Super "B" at 26 metres. 85' 3" instead of 82 feet.

I will check my chassis weigh distribution page.
