Country Fried

That happened to me at the Petro in Weatherford, TX on thanksgiving. Finally had to flag down a manager. I was served by two different waitresses, one gave my tea and the other took my order, neither which knew exactly whose table it actually was and since I never got a drink refill and ate the buffet, I didn't feel bad about not leaving a tip lol!

 

I don't even stop at the TA's anymore. I really try to stay the hell away from them and their "restaurants". Say what you will about Denny's but I've never gotten sick and the prices are fair. That slop TA serves isn't even good enough for prison inmates in my honest opinion. I gave them one more shot a few months back. I told the waitress that too, I haven't been to a TA in a long time because of all the problems, and I did it nicely and half jokingly. What I ordered on the menu wasn't there, and the other thing I ordered was wrong and nasty. Never again. I already took GA Rookie's advice. I will never be a customer in a TA ever again.

 

Theree's a great Mexican place across the street from that Petro. I don't eat truck stop food , unless it's fast food.

 

A lot of the Denny's have free WiFi unlike the ta.

 

no matter where u go pancakes are usually a safe bet, they might be hard as a rock but usually wont make ya sick, that's all I order when a place is sketchy.
