A bit OT, I've always wondered how are you paid, in km or miles?
-
I believe all companies in Canada pay in miles
-
That would mean your true rate of pay is about .30 cpm......welcome to 1982!!!!!
Toomanybikes Thanks this. -
Worked for a distribution company for a while that did, but no big company.
-
Welcome to the cpm scam. He will tell you everything is rolled into that .42 cpm. So when you are waiting at the dock for 8 hours to get unloaded he will tell you the same thing. Some believe it and spend there whole career working for less than minimum wage.canadian Thanks this.

U S federal labor law requires at least on week paid vacation.
I don't know but I seem to think Canada requires one or two.bubbavirus Thanks this. -
City workers get election day off paid here.
-
I get paid 450 miles at .5325 cpm for all holidays. I get a week vacation at the same rate that would go up to two weeks at 3 years and three weeks at 10 years of seniority.
Once you have a couple of years of experience there is no reason why you should be working for a company like that. -
Pardon me??? There is NO U.S. labor law requiring paid vacation. Look it up. Do you also believe that US Marshall's get involved in receiver/shipper vs driver disputes?
Cranky Yankee and Toomanybikes Thank this.
