Thanks again for the updates. Poor Grandpa A all those years together and now this happens.
I know when my mom's mother passed it was almost a year to the day my Grandpa basicly started shutting down.
They were each other.. He worked and provided and she kept the books and the house in order so to speak.
Again wishing the best for everybody

    Still got fingers crossed Catalina.
I took it up the rear today....Consider I live in Mo, and left the house running up 54,72,55, etc...
Park up in Aurora last night, and up at 6am this morning to get my 2 parts loads.
They only have one part, and apparently the rest is in Peoria at the railard! WTF????
So I hang up on my office idiot, tell him to make it right, and shoot 132 miles down there.
Come to find out, he added an extra stop, that he took out of linehaul! Can we say free?
That screwed me up for delivering both tomorrow, as well as the miles/time/etc.
Now I need to figure out the cheapest way to get to Bensalem, Pa from Claysville.
Looking at 70-79-68-81-283 onto 30 then onto the toll road at @ValleyForge. Toll from there to Bensalem is @$21.
Legal load, @65,000 gross on 6 axles with a 53' trailer.
    Thoughts?

I'm sure you've been on the roller coaster before, so no surprise there. If you do it at night, you could go down the Schuylkill (76) to 95 and avoid the $21, but that entirely depends on traffic.

Right! Going to be into a third day for a 900 mile legal load. Retarded is an understatement.
I dont even want to add the miles up, I'd get even more P'd off.
Currently in Carlisle at the J. Going to leave here early in the AM and head down there, as I called and asked about hours and parking, and it wasn't good news. So instead of taking a chance, I called it quits here. Did manage to walk to the Volvo dealer and get a couple of 1/4 turn ball valves though, to chain up the rear axle.
Now to figure out the best way from here....

On a side note, I was parked in a rest area last night in Oh, drawing a line, and a red W9 with a RGN parks next to me with "Pape" on the door.
I was pulling out, but would have been a tight fit, so without a word, the guy walked back to his truck and backed up for me. I said thank you, but not sure if he had his radio on or not.
Say thanks for me Chris please?

Still at Fort Polk, load in the am for Fort Campbell, should deliver Thursday and hope to reload Friday.
