They do have dedicated flatbed divisions. I think maybe a couple in Omaha and Minneapolis/St. Paul and other locations. They use company drivers and some places 0/0's. Google Schneider flatbed divisions.
Schneider or Werner?

Florida is a bad choice to move to. I live in central fl. Its hard to find a good pay job that will get you home. Thats why I took a lump and moved up to Atlanta for time being even though it sucks
-
So guys Schneider or werner

I don't know why people say this. There are many companies with terminals in northern and central Florida. Swift, Werner, Lessors, Heyl just to name a few off the top of my head.
Werner's terminal is in Lakeland - just 55 miles from Orlando. Schneider does not have a terminal in FL. Based on that I'd pick Werner.

Thanks a lot for the advise...I was doing some more research and Schneider does not have terminal in florida, so I'm looking towards Werner...I'll be the number 1 rookie of the year...
-
Did you already apply with Werner?
-
I just called Werner and they told me that the regional position that they have is all the east coast which I be out 2-3 weeks at a time etc etc. I want to start my truck career and I'm serious about it and I know I don't have any experience whatsoever but I really want to get more home time at least every week etc etc.. So Werner is not looking to good for me...any other advise or companies that you can advise me about?

Try Swift, their terminal is in Ocala. There is Heyl with a terminal in Zephyrhills but I'm not sure if they hire new drivers. You'd have to call them.
Another one is Carroll Fulmer, though again not sure if they hire newbs:
