Got 2 steer tires and an alignment today. Truck went to the shop today going to have the soft cruise and the 5 minute idle and a new windshield. I also took all my lights off my Benson flat And moved them underneath stake pockets so they're no longer in the way while trying to strap down a load. Now have 13 lights on each side. Kinda ridiculous. They're also all turn signals.

Also CatFlyer I'm going to Oregon next week when I get up there I'm going to see of there is anything I can do. To possibly help

    catalinaflyer Thanks this.

Well sitting here in Greensboro. Got to the shipper at 7am. They start lding me and I see the piece is a lot smaller thatn I was told. ASk the shipper, he says you are getting this unit and the other guy is getting the wide piece.Huh?
Well there was a mix up and they had to off ld. the small piece. Then they shrink wrap it.
Do you know how well shrink wrap works in the cold rainy weather. They battled it for 4 hours. I'm like guys just call it a day and finish it tomorrow.. They said fine see you in the morning. The other guy they got him lded. and will shrink wrap his ld. tomorrow also..

Yea, we would of liked to go but seeing how it's shrink wrapped and tall. You know if the shrink wrap rips they are going to want the fat man to put a tarp on it. Not going to happen unless alot of money is being paid out, due to the fact the top is open. No roof and it's 11' 7" wide and 12' high on the ground..
So much for Fri. del. in Cheyenne..

Martin, Why did your dispatch not tell you that part of the ld. was in Peoria?? Brain fart or just being an arse?
Nothing like back tracking and like you said a waste of time, fuel and money

Brain fart, not paying attention, so on and so forth. Nothing intentional, just dropped the ball.

I might be a little confused. The only driver I have with a red W9 was pulling a step with a tracked farm tractor. And he should have been down on I-70...weren't you heading across the North Side of Ohio?

I do like to hear about my drivers being courteous on the road...I am just not sure who to send the thanks to.
