Today is my 1 year anniversary with Abilene. I cannot believe it has flown by. I have learned so much from everyone on here and other drivers I have met. Even learned a thing or two from dispatch. I have had ups and downs, but feel this is the right place for me at this time. Hopefully this next year will also fly by and I will still like my job!

They say the first year is the hardest when driving with a company. I know you had a rough start but hey look now thats way behind you. I know where it went my truck has been in shop 5 times and ive only been here 5 weeks but its been something I got fixed while on break or in a short amont of time. Hope you have a great 2nd year. Even after all the maint. issues still love my truck.

Just in case an outsider was reading this and my 5 trips to the shop for one thing or another. The truck issues hasn't really effected my miles and I'm sure without doubt I could have gotten another truck but I love my truck. It drives great and pulls like no other truck I've ever driven. My last load was 1600 plus and current load is 1900 plus. So far I really like it here.
JohnBoy and gntorres61 Thank this. -
Congratulations! I'll hit my one year next month. I can't say it's flown by, but I have definitely learned a lot.RebelChick and JohnBoy Thank this.

Congratulations to all of you. I'm right behind you all. I have my one year on the 14th. I'm just hoping I'm not celebrating it here at Pella Ia in the drop yard.

Picked up at BH petersburg going to Brooklyn. Brought it back by the yard to run over the scales. 29 on drives and 37 on the trailer. Slid them to about all the way back to get weight legal. No way bridge law legal. Talked to Bo and now I am sitting waiting for a rework. Yay!

You seem to get all the heavy loads with scale issues.
JohnBoy Thanks this. -
Currently at customer waiting to get unloaded. Appt time not till 1300 but maybe I'll get done early. This load was heavy could only get 90 gallons of fuel at time but wasn't bad only fueled twice. I'm in Raleigh , NC. Did this 1890 miles all on recap hours. Right now have 4.24 left on 70 nut got 8 plus rolling over for the next several days so lets keep these wheels turning. Be safe every one.
JohnBoy Thanks this.
