Optimized idle

I pulled the shift lever over with a bungee and the motor only runs for twenty minutes. Are you pulling back a little like it is going into gear? Any other hints? Company truck so I am limited.

yeah I pulled the shifter back so basically it was almos in gear, there is a little spot where you can feel its not in nuetral and it pushing against the top gear. I had to have mine bungeed to the passenger seat so it wouldnt fall out.

 

How did you find a way to keep the truck on? Or the idle working??????

 

Hey yall i just finished my 28 days few days ago. got into a 13' cascadia with same issue i tried turning it on didnt work ....but i figured out a way to i guess u can call it bypass thw opt idle. turned truck on - turnes the cruise control on - then pressed the accel button - after that i kept pressing the decel. Button till the idle got little but above normal idle.


Idk if that helps anyone or if that would mess up oil pressure or not

 

How the neck do that I'm in a 2017 and this turning off crap is annoying

 

My 97b had that, I had them turn it off in the ecm before I would buy the thing. lol
