I would rather listen to truck drivers tell stories than drunks.
BigBluePeter Thanks this. -
What kinda scotch you want with that? Drunks have much more interesting stories and if you get them drunk enough they give you more money.

Meh, those were angry and hasty words. I just didn't realize the way things went down with me and my company was industry standard and I was pissed that I didn't know any better.

Not all are the same some have great dispatch waiting on loads happens depends where you are and what is around. Heavy haul companies sometimes have to pay a penalty if the load is late.
-
That is the problem with a lot of these small companies. That if you quit they often play games with your last paycheck.

He gave it a shot and it's not right for him, at this time in his life, if it ever will be. And he has another job skill to go to .
I don't see anything wrong with that.
I'm not sure on his original question, but I hope he gets paid what he's owed. -
Yep. Time for you to go back to bar tending.

Sorry princess trucking isn't a 9-5 job. You work when your hours allow you to. I start out about 2 hours earlier everyday because I run my full 11 inside of 12 hours, take my mandatory 10 and do it all over again till I deliver. That's the way trucking works.
And when you are running on permits you can't be a whiney little girl you get up and run when you legally can. Then when you can't hack it after a week you go to the interweb and cry.
