I've heard of a few old timers say they put C or D (can't remember which) cell battery's down their stacks to corrode the baffles out of their stockers. Anyone have any input on this? Hurt the truck?

Just take a peice of pipe and a hammer and knock out the baffles .
Or you could just buy mufflers with out baffles in them .

There are several places that make free flow mufflers .

Order a Pittsburgh Power performance muffler. I run one in one of my trucks, it's loud and sounds really good. But, not obnoxious like a straight pipe.

The clear answer here is either 4-5 rounds of 5.56 or a few 12. gauge shells.

I run the same ones from Donaldson, (Who makes them for PP.) and they were quieter, but a nice low rumble than the cheap low flow mufflers I had on before.
