Where'd everybody go?

 

Stuck out in French camp for the night. 3 drops in the am and hopefully a reload towards Spokane. Nothing like having 4 5k genies and only enough binders for 3...

 

Playing in the snow in Montana tonight. I deliver in billings in the morning. Shut down early tonight because of the snow. Roads were just wet but it's snowing hard enough I could only see about 20 ft

 

Have fun with that new nephew there, they are a lot of fun. I'm loading in Cody wy. Going up to new Westminster B.C. I'm liking this I've been home every week for at least a day this month. Ill get to swing through the house on this one too for a day

 

Good luck, only advice I can give you is just hold tight for awhile. Everyone I know is slow right now whether it be vans flats or tanks. It's almost construction season, freight will pick up

 

Definitely slow time of the ysar. I managed to haul a whole 4 loads of freight this pay period. I'm scared of what my check is going to look like.

At least I had an 11-drop, tarped load of moulding to Calgary to help cover the downtime.

 

Guess I'm lucky staying on the dedicated run. Been staying busy but did empty out in Portland last Monday by noon and had to sit the rest of that day then the next day had to deadhead up to northbend to load so definitely noticing the slowdown that way

 

The rest of the pole guys seem to be busy. I've been requesting to stay west so I'm a bit slower because Brett is looking for freight that stays west of Colorado for me. But it works for me. Get to see the gf and the kiddo a lot more this way. I was debating going elsewhere but Brett has really bent over backwards to keep me on his fleet. Ill be heading out at 5 am for surrey bc
