Not for Roger beeps or echo that's for sure I have a cobra 29 lx and a 29 Ltd chrome just want another bigger one to my collection don't worry hams I'm not into getting into your bands just want a higher power one don't feeling like messing with amps and kickers just one all in one type a deal
I was just gonna say for the price of a 10 meter you could get a 29 and a two pill that will get out better. But if u just want one that's kool also. Also a 29 with a rfx mod would be cheaper and put out the same.
Well help me out the guy said he charges 50 if I send the radio and amp he will match it up just don't know which one some require a higher carrier some don't it's confusing a bit to me I was looking at the exforce midnight special 250 will that work read the specs sound like it would not a big carrier and 30 max pep but is it better to add rfx and get those other amps that require more power to drive them and need a place to buy a good one checked ebay and couple places looks like people buying them out lol
There are people on here with more knowledge the me. I just think 10 meter radios are over priced for what they do. I personally run a 29 into a 1x4 with 5 2879's. With a Wilson 5000. I just baby the amp along with the 29.
I have the cobra 29 Ltd classic with the rfx75 and love it, hitting 100 watts with it on the meter and I get compliments from afar " loud and clear".
Just ordered the 4600T expensive but I think it will last me a while plus have to do tax write off anyway lol
