I noticed that there is a few business routes over there, my escort is from AR, so hopefully she knows some of these routes well.

 

Wheeler Ridge Petro... kicked off 3 of 4 stops today and survived downtown San Fran so that was good. Got too the first stop a couple hours early to beat traffic so hungout with the homeless for a couple hours down in the hood. just have Whittier to kick off tomorrow then hopefully more of the gravy north

 

The detour is just seems to send you in the wrong direction and brings you back through town on a skinny road with stop lights and the skinny bridges, typical AR bs.

 

You know its not good when your permit guy calls you before he emails it to you and says, sorry about the routing in AR, I tried to get them to clean it up some. I said I figured it wasn't going to be much fun, at 13'6"W, 13'9"H and 116,000lbs.

 

Had to take a picture of this today, thought this was a unique way of "holding" the arms of a 980 loader down. I wonder how long that strap will last against the sharp edges of those bushings.
