Here is a dumb question. Just drove a century and it has inter Adel lock switch, fifth wheel slide switch and then one that says trailer hold use only for trailer disconnect. I have not seen that one before. Anybody have any clues or experience with this. Thanks.

Was that a electric actuated king pin release switch? Sure sounds like one from what you described.
-
Trl hold switch has to be held in the on position, it won't stay on by itself. This is used when you are trying to slide your tandems and the trl brakes won't hold. You flip this switch and it sends additional air pressure to trl in an attempt to keep wheels from moving
Adamprov3nch3r Thanks this. -
Like a Johnson bar then

Well, that makes sense.

So why does it say for trailer disconnect
-
The trailer disconnect control operates an air cylinder under the 5th wheel to allow you to unlock or release the 5th wheel jaws from the drivers seat, after getting out before hand, dollying down and disconnecting air lines and trailer cord.
