So I guess every one here is after the victim not the aggressors. I am telling you that 99% of the loads offered to me are elite over night delivery for couple dollars a mile. Most of the recordings I have I have let my folks listen to it as proof that the other party is arrogant and ignorant 90%of the time. You are telling me 90% of the brokers are ####### and only reason they have the multi-million dollar business is due to some kind of behind the seen connection or know some one in the higher hierarchy (biggest BS I have ever heard). It is not possible that they all are clueless and no idea about business and have no clue what the load is all about and what the market looks like on daily basis. They are just there due to some kind of behind the seen connection, that can't be true. There are tons of western boys who call "A Spade A Spade" and do not suck up any one whosoever, n they are doing fine n great. Matter of fact I have a recording for one trucker,(who was from LA), I walked up to him and told him that I was in New Orleans market for 4 days and these guys are telling me run for fuel only during the season. The guy said what are you kidding me ?? He gave me same numbers for brokers, which I already had (I was trying calling from another phone for a better luck, less than 5 min) and told me that call em you will have load before you blink your eye. I asked him that you call first and then I will call the same number. Any way he calls one of the brokers on speaker, first thing she (while girls with business class voice) says you have any interest going to North East?? he said may be she said how does $2800 sound like from Hattiesburg area. He looks at me I nodded go for it. We were still in the conversation when the line got intersected and a guy (black guys with an arrogant voice) starts asking who needs the load n why are you calling this number for?? My white brother(western boy) hung up the phone all pissed off n said our GOV is F ed up. We confirmed that the numbers were same as he had for years and I got them off of the postings. Well the arrogant phone answerer wanted me to do the same load for $1200. So I had to leave empty out of the seasonal hot market of New Orleans, LA.
