Either way, you are 2 years behind the times. And name calling is not allowed or I could be calling you something.

Thank you so much for this useful response! When the truck is getting loaded I am usually helping secure the load or making sure my tools are organized. Its a flat bed crane truck so there is lots to do. Your right about goin off duty when waiting but I just put on duty not driving since I only have 14hrs from the start of my day anyways. . I should clarify my 14hr work day so far has not reached anywhere near 11 hrs drive time. Its usually a even split on duty not driving/driving

But you save your 70 a LOT if you go ff duty while waiting. It doesn't affect your 14, but does effect your 70. I;m a flat bedder and rarely log more then 45 min for a load and 30 min for unload. DOT can't prove i dont work that fast. If you can save 2 hours a day, you almost have enough for the 8th day. In your case, you could drive for 8 hours and be on duty for 2 hours. As long as all your driving falls with in 14 hours from the start of your day. Thats only 10 hours going ageist your 70 instead of the full 14. Unless you are actively working for 14 hours strait, log off duty to save your 70. With the new 8 hour rule, you need to take 30 min off duty at some point.

H your fine.as far as which rule your under ask your company log person.you could be either way.depends on which the company wants to follow not work schedule. I if you have the same 2 days off use the 34 hour reset, just remember you have to have 7 days to the minute between resets.

Name calling? Like your previous post, you list facts not in evidence. I owned my mistake, so why don't you do the same. Until then "He" awaits the evidence to support your slanderous comment.

Calling someone Mr. Perfect is name calling with a sarcastic tone.

    I stated that either way.

You want an apology, then apologize for the insult

If you look at my post it states every time. Use the brain and realize that even once is every time.

If you are new to logging...i strongly suggest you take a class or get someone to sit down with you until you are completely sure you "get it" 100%. If you get DOTed on logs and you arent doing it right you can get MULTIPLE violations and even put OOS. AND...ALWAYS log off duty whenever it is LEGAL to save your time! Its better to have the time and not need it...than need it and not have it!

WAIT. 4 on and 2 off, there is no day 8. Anytime you have 34 consecutive hours off duty, it all resets and starts again at zero. Driving only 4 days, one will never hit 70. If I am wrong, I have misunderstood how this all works the whole time.

Because never meets the requirements of the 168 hour rule on the 34 hour reset implemented in July 2013.
