side rail damage, will dot put me its for this?

    No ditch but some very soft mud to the right of my steer tire so if I would have pulled in straight
    in I probably have gotten stuck. Yes I agree I should have been straight but could not.

    Some guys have only rubber tire sticking out. Some have nice SS flap hanger, light bars or fenders so they might wanna keep their goodies tucked under the trailer so the forklift with short forks doesn't hit them. If they think the rub rail is their bump stop they'll hit anything sticking out past it.

    Mind quoting that reg that says you can put a truck oos over a rub rail being damaged? Guys cut sections of them out in specific applications every day. Installing pipe stakes permanently is one example of this.
