Yes, new filters are at 16 psi, change by 12 psi, if no gauge, every 25k. Problem is if you get a bad load of fuel and clog filters before 25k, so I install gauge so I can be sure.

The very best fuel filtration system is the Davco, there is "0" restriction and maximum filtration. I worked on these things and have seen all kinds of systems that were suppose to remove the air from the system to gain all this power, it does nothing.
When ever they tell you there system is so great, ask them for DYNO results, not one of the companies are willing to back up there blabber with proof or a guarrentee.
    Just a thought!

What micro does Davco filtrate at?
I have all the prof I need, better fuel mileage and performance. Do you have any dyno reports that say's it doesn't seem work?

FASS shows dyno reports right on their website.
I went and checked Davco's products. The Fuel Pro 482 (the one made for my DD15) only filters to 7 microns.

Interestingly, my DD15 has a built in w/s with auto-discharge and, from the factory, filters to 3-5 microns. And they recommend 50k mi. filter change intervals.

And if you believe Davco's words? They say that vapor bubbles don't affect performance and they disappear after the lift pump.

If that's the case, then you are wrong about Davco being the very best filtration system out there. Why? My DD15 does everything Davco does, but has BETTER filtration!

Its sounding to me like I don't need any of these aftermarket devices!

    Bigdubber Thanks this.

that is true BUT think of time you save by letting electric pump fill the fuel filters .no more of this pump 250 strokes to be able to start it after a filter change and longer life on the pricey factory filters . i had to get the low pressure pump (aka) lift pump changed the shop i went to installed a upgraded version the power increase and smoothing of the idle was amazing .fass or airdog will be going on before too long

a can of ether is cheaper quicker and effective. The filter kit you can find on eBay made by Donaldson for 60 bucks or made by Parker for 80 bucks.

I wish someone would make a cheaper air filter element for my Coronado!

The Davco will filter from 50 microns to 2 microns. It depends on the filter you put in, which is dependent on the engine OEM demands. Here is a filter application chart for their 382 unit and the filter selections for each engine.......

I tried it for my Series 60 in my glider truck. I now have it sitting in the garage in a plastic bag. After about 100,000 miles of using it, I gave up on it. No appreciable mpg benefit or power increase. Just higher levels of silicon and wear numbers in the used oil samples. Not critical numbers, just higher numbers. Went back to the Donaldson air filters which I get for a reasonable cost at Ryder Fleet Products online.
