Ok... I'm most likely going to get stoned (again) for ask this.
(Company drivers... Ok... I can understand getting fuel at the terminals.

But, O/O or L/O, why the heck would you want to buy fuel at the terminals?
We have to remember, we are business owners out here, NOT just mindless steering wheel holders.
We are grandfathered in to the old fuel plan with ComData.
We don't get any more of a discount when buying fuel at the terminals than what is posted on the QC messages.
We still get a deeper discounts getting fuel at the Loves etc truck stops with the ComData card than we get at the terminals. Plus don't forget the points we get..... We don't get points at the terminals!

Central was a company driver ... Me, I'm Swift O/O. So what ever plan you have/had with Central doesn't apply to me .

If you ever go off the plan, always check the terminal price. Sometimes it can be a bargain, sometimes not ... In this case I paid $3.86 in WV with a $.36 IFTA ... next best price on my route was $3.79 in VA with $.20 IFTA ... a net $.09 difference in IFTA and a $.02 savings after paying a $.07 extra in WV.

For the most part we were 'grandfathered' in... Pay scale - no change, but no more on-time bonuses or safety bonuses... Fueling we now get charged the $0.34 for using our ComData cards (even when only getting refer fuel) but we still get a discount (amount varies) from pump price. We also pay actual IFTA charges instead of a flat mileage rate. We had to sign an 'addendum' to our contract.

About the same for us... And since we run a consistent loop, it would be easy to tell... Every week we run a loop of 4980 loaded miles... Take home weekly from January (under Central) and February (under Swift) are about equal... Of course there will be fluctuations due to fuel prices, fuel economy (weather) and FSC. We have found that varies about $300 +/-.
