Yea, It's steady but seems like loads in the steel business have slowed just a tad. Just seeing what everyone else had going on.
Slow down?

Really?? We'll see about that. Im picking up a Load heading From Ohio to St.Cloud,mn.... Just a 'fair' Rate on it.
If its that busy.............I shouldn't have any trouble finding a Steel or Crate Load from Minnesota to Chicago or East...Right??
(Every single frickin time i go to Minnesota..All I hear is "Ya" and freight going to North Dakota,South Dakota and Colorado.). Not much Going East..Where I Need to go. -
I don't pull any brokered freight out of MN.Cluck Cluck Thanks this.
-
Ok, Great....... What can you recommend for me?
Not trying to step on your toes but, i could use some consistency going EAST outta the Cities or St Cloud....I can NEVER find it up there for a flatbed...Since like the early 90's.
And the 'Few' Loads I do Find Going East The Borkers have those Rates Burchered worse than your local Meat market. -
I honestly don't have any good leads. All I do is my direct stuff and loads to ND during the summer if need be. If I think of something ill pm you.

How far east?

I haul scrap into the steel mills and we've been slow for the past three weeks.
-
Well I've been running from us steel to various places in Minnesota then they have me deadhead back to us steel then repeat. I like the empty runs back and simple load, 6 straps one tarp in and out 30 minutes.

BAM!, and back in the saddle! Hopefully it keeps coming, just a quick slow down and the freight is back!
