i was thinking the same thing

its weird, but if i am going to mass or ct, i like to come thru danbury about 0100, get to my destination, go to sleep, wake up, get unloaded, go to my pickup, and i am out of dodge before 1400, go to scranton or wilkesbarre, take a nap, shower, eat, and get past the scale at Lodi, OH before sunup

    never see anybody's rushhour

wake up after columbus rush hour and head westerly along 70, indy scale closed about sunset, and keep it moving

This topic is a good question since there are a lot of times when I purposely leave early or later just to avoid traffic. Certain cities that are large still have good flow but some cities are always backed up with stop-n-go traffic such as Chicago, Louisville, Seattle, and Dallas during rush hour just to name a few. It really does depend on how far you are and when you got to be at your destination to determine how to avoid traffic.

    Well,.Ok ???

I guess...........To save what 3-4 Miles? All you gottsa do now is go 4 miles to 80 then 3 miles to 57..

Like I said..A project consumed by our Tollway Dollars and Taxes that is not a NEED..

Go Resurface the Hillside Strangler....Or make a NEW interchange There..... That is Whats NEEDED

Just make sure you add plenty of time when planning a trip to or through that area.
Whether you go through it or wait it out, it will take a lot more time.
