mommy6, I got your email address forwarded to me from the moderator. I will write you tonight when I'm finished with my load. I will put my cell phone number in the message, or you can write me. In any event, I will help you and your husband as much as I can. Right now I need to take a nap for a few hours.

This just goes to show the quality of drivers we have at Abilene. Ive only been here a little over 6 weeks but been driving for 8 plus years. Ive never seen so many willing to help out other drivers. I actually had three drivers call me just to see how things were going and if I had any questions or anything I want to ask. This was said by all 3 drivers worded differently but same thing.
Thanks fellow drivers for your genuine concerns and all the help.

Got our second drop off today at. 3pm. I was done early in Jackson Hole Wyoming then had a 380 mid deadhead. I had just enough time to get to Idaho Falls. Tim took over from there and got us to Nampa.
i called the receiver on our way there and was told they stop receiving at 3pm. We got there at exactly 3pm and was done at 3:15. No reload came over the Qualcomm which suited me just fine. We drove the six miles to the Flying J and got showers, ate then went to bed.YardDart and The Challenger Thank this. -
have to give this to abilene that they are fast to approve hometime. Glad that he gets to go to his girls event bc last year he miss so much bc his old company always had a hard time getting him loads to come home with.

Hopefully there won't be any more bumps in the road for your hubby.

Whoever gives hometime did great. It gives me something to look forward too ... pass throughs are great for the little things so he can be there for, he call walter is dispatcher and ask him then was talking to the one in charge and was told no problem. We live in a prime location is what he was told. He put the message in once he got off the phone within ten min he got the approval.

George is on home time. My mom got out of the hospital yesterday and is in the same facility as my dad (for rehabilitation & therapy). In fact they are across the hall from one another. While I was in Dad's room, putting his name in his clothes, I heard "Amazing Grace" playing with bagpipes (beautiful!). George was playing music on his tablet via utube for Mom! My trucker husband is awesome!

Hence the reason I kept asking if he put in the time off macro. Bill is the one that handles all of that and you usually hear back within 24 hours depending on how busy he is.
