In Canada as a long haul trucker you are under federal rule. You are entitled 2weeks vacation and 4%of gross wages after a year of service and 6%and 3 weeks vacation after 6 years of employment with same employer.3noses, upnorthwpg, Toomanybikes and 1 other person Thank this.

I get 4% vacation pay on every cheque....plus $300 for every stat holiday.

Federal Rule is exactly correct here. These are the rules fpr any company driver who works for a company that operates across the country. If more drivers were aware of their rights under the laws transportation would be a far better industry...BigHossVolvo and upnorthwpg Thank this.
