Is that around the Pilot TS? (I've been to the Pilot TS and didn't care for it) The one you speak of would be more to my liking!

Suspicions confirmed, as I sit here in Houston. While I should be in Canada. And wonder why this phenomenon happens to me in TX.

It's across the street from the Pilot. It's a Exxon Mobil/ACT branded truck stop.
They make awesome country food. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans, Mac n cheese, scallop potatoes, corn, green beans, apply crisp, corn bread, fresh cake and pie. They also have breakfast food in the mornings. All their food is made from scratch.
A nice treat after a long day trucking. -
At the first rest area on US 35 in Ohio. Interstate 77 was a nightmare through Virginia today.

had to manufacture a parking space at 6:45 pm -
Sounds about right for that place.

We rarely venture north of LA. All of our freight is in and out. We dont have California in state authority. last time I got stuck in Ontario was because my load had to be reworked to be legal on the Cali 40 foot mark.

Parked at pilot on I80 in nebraska for all of about 10 more mins , then 5 hrs to go ...

Parked in my house, in my bed watching lizard lick towing on tru tv with no loud reefers or smelly urine drenched parking lots to deal with!
