Sitting at the Salt Lake terminal. T-called a load headed for Canada. They TRIED to change the t-call to Shelby, MT, said NO! Then they tried to plan me on the Salt Lake to Calgary part of the load which I of course refused.

    Dunnigan, CA at the Pilot.

This was my fuel stop, and I almost made it here before running out of fuel.
    22 miles away.
I guess I was bucking headwinds, because I usually have plenty to spare when it hits empty. Not this time.
    I hate when that happens.

On-road told me it would be 2.5 hours for the Swift guy from Willows to get to me, but he got there in about an hour.
Still, it put me behind schedule for my 0600 unload tomorrow morning in South San Francisco.
I lucked out when I called my DM. He told me I had a delivery window until 1300, so I'll avoid the morning rush and get it there around 1000.

Staying here in El Paso. While truck getting fixed all of a sudden became ill. It is 78 now, and I am wearing a spring coat and cold and chills. Talked to my DR back home and told that still fighting the flu. Gave me two options, come home and stay home in bed for 7-10 days or just take it very easy out here for a week or so. So back to my real short loads with plenty of time. Truck is all fixed. they had to make a template. The ratio in the computer was 3.46 instead of 3.25. Now changed PTA until morning. Rest all day

Drink fluids!! Helps keep the stuff in your lungs moist so when you cough it will come out easier!!
