Crete carrier

I worked at Crete. I averaged 1400-1600 a wk also

 

I find that extremely hard to believe. When I was with Crete, I was in the office once while my terminal manager tore into a driver for only averaging 2000 miles a week. That was back in the day of the load select and this driver would always pick the loads with the shortest miles and longest time frame.

I don't know if you were there when they had load select or not but there were many times that I would be offered a crappy load and I would refuse it by just saying it was not productive. Much more often than not, I got a better load.

 

I will keep my eyes on the lookout for one. I will definitely let you know.

 

I was never forced to do illegal runs at Crete, but if you are going to work out of Lenoir City, Google search Jeff H. Chattanooga Housing Authority. He got out of it, but from what I experienced, I believe he was guilty of every bit of it and more. He has said a number of times he hates truckers. He has perverted attitudes toward females... Don't believe me? Go look at the porno trash he likes on his Facebook page. Stay far far away!!!

Look at all of these "less than 10 post wonders" on this thread, taking shots at this company. I never believe comments from a first post. You gotta build some "street cred" by being a long time member here (and posting a lot) before I'm going to take anything posted seriously... but that's just me.

 

Hey lawabiding10, I found one, for me at least, I'm driving for usfoods now, dedicated run working 4 days a week, so far so good. I still appreciate my 15 years + at Crete, it was time for me to find a better deal and I think I did. Safe travels...
