Anyone been to Konoike Pacific (K-PAC) in Wilmington, CA? Are they pretty fast at unloading? Any place to park nearby because directions say not to arrive early and appy is 1000 tomorrow?

Kpac is on Coil and if you can be there this evening, you will find that following those directions in, you can then hang your first right off of coil, run that til it Ts and park alone the fence/canal. Then roll over in the morning.diabello Thanks this.

Wish I could be there tonight, but stuck in Phoenix till 2 am and then will hit the road. So will hit LA during rush hour which should be fun since haven't drove through there in about 4 yrs. Only had 49 total hrs to run 1650 miles including 2 10 hr breaks so been driving 650 miles last 2 days. I don't like pushing it this hard, would like a little time for emergencies, only got about 60-90 mins extra tomorrow to account for traffic in LA.

Kudos to the kind DM that stepped in and arranged a swap to ensure I'd be able to start my home time on schedule.
I was worried that I'd have to alter plans that had been in place for over a month until she sent the swap info out of the blue. Apparently my DM had asked around for a hand getting me out from under this load.
I figured we were given this load from the outset to get me back to Texas since I'd been a broken record on the qualcomm about my upcoming home time, but Mikey did the math and the del time didn't add up so I'm grateful to him too.

Wow. They have know from the beginning if this load that it was going to need a swap or reschedule. I send in the macros with the legal time I can be there. I even tell them where I am stopping and when. And yet, nothing on a swap or reschedule. Oh well, it is on them and I will just keep moving the load until told differently.

I am pretty fed up with JCT, I am tired of not getting preplaned ahead of time and sitting all day. This is the 1st company I've been with that have not been preplanned a day ahead of time. I at least want to know the direction to head after unloading so dont eat the fuel and miles for nothing. Thinking of jumping ship and going back to old job.

Sorry to hear that. Me personally, I don't really worry about a preplan all that much. I don't really leave to area I am in after a delivery anyway. Preplans are nice to get though. I am here to stay. I don't (or afford) to be starting over again somewhere else. From what I have seen here the past month, I can make JCT work for me.
Just got message. The load was rescheduled to Monday and told not to roll tonight when my 10hr was up for possible swap options. Even if it don't get swapped, I can get a reset in before delivery.Jarhed1964 and Trafficcontrolxl Thank this. -
Well I got unloaded in Denver earlier today and now I am sitting up in Greeley waiting on a load with 2 drops in GA and finals in FL. Hmmm geee I wonder what I will get out of that state. LoL
Probably OJ up to NC or Virginia like I have the last 3 times I was there. LoL -
Just talked to another JCT driver here at the truckstop and he says he is always preplanned ahead of time and almost never sits. I must be doing something wrong. Got empty around noon and still no preplan, guess will be waiting till morning.
