Paul I know we have a few that I talk to that live in Fl. I know the pay is a little higher at conway but man I have yet to sit an hour without a load. The longest I've wasted is 50 minutes once. Every other time once a send in end trip within minutes have my next load. Like right now I have exactly 0.00 hrs left on my 70 I got caught in a traffic jam right at the ga/sc. Had to drive I minutes off duty to the next trk stop. Not the one I wanted to stop at but no choice. I my low pay period so far is 6350ish and we get paid bi weekly. Call our recruiting Sally or I'll tell u if u want private message me your phone number and I'll have them call you if nothing else just for her to answer any and all questions. I can honesty say I be never seen where drivers go out of yhier way to help other drivers. Ive only been here about 7 weeks and two customers I was at with other abilene drivers said they never seen a company drivers help each other like you guys do.

Thanks all for the well wishes. Took 4 Tylenol PM's and went to sleep. Sweated buckets and woke up at 10, guess that's what I needed. Down at the yard now and just gonna hang to see if anything comes through. Jonathan and Chris weren't in and Don was busy so didn't want to bother him. Talked with Sally for awhile. They moved the scanner all the way back into the new break area. I couldn't find it as I didn't go all the way around the second bend...lol

Got one of my 100 episodes of food poisoning back in 99 and drove at about 40%, my mind was trying to get me to pull over but my body wasn't cooperating. Funny how the body works. Finally pulled over and woke up a day later. My dispatch said they were just calling the state police to come find as I wasn't answering the QC and they knew that was odd as I always answer no matter when it was as I am a light sleeper for the most part.

Everyone, this Fri/Sat Apr 5 from midnight to 8 I95 south will be shut down for overhead bridge placement. If you are going south get off at xit 77 rt24 and go left to rt40. Take rt40 towards Baltimore and jump onto 695. You can take rt22 by the Aberdeen Ironbirds stadium too

Welp my QC didn't talk to me after a couple hours so I thought Kimberly put a leave me alone tag on it. I went in and there were two loads Don and Chris were trying to work on. So they asked what my hours looked like and Allen was in on it. Good on hours but only had 7 standing there, I told them make it 6 with having to fuel and hook and all (rather tell them short than have them think you wiggle your nose and you are on 95). So this load is a 2 stop hush load (some of you know what I'm talking about others can PM me if you want to know. First drop in Salina, KS Thur morn. I get out to the truck and look it up and then call Allen when I was fueling. Asked him if he was crazy, 1,262 miles with 6.5 tonight to be there by Thur morn. He said "we figured it out to be 19 hours and your good til noon". Oh okay, that makes it all the better <sarcasm>. I asked if he forgot about PTI's and the box telling me I'm tired after 8 hrs, told him I'll do what I can. The way I have it planned I'll be there right at noon, with no hiccups. Hopefully the only one I'll have is at the yard. Couldn't find the dang trailer and watching BB laugh at me as I was doing laps in the yard. It was in the docks and that was the first place I looked, guess that's what I get for mentally trip planning while looking for a trailer.
At Cattletsburg, KY J now. Had to make my own spot as the wench in the box kept yelling at me. Funny how she's sweet when reading your load assignment but an annoying wench otherwise. Not happy at all where I am but it is what it is. Out by the entrance with my nose exposed to any cowboy that wants to barrel through. I for one don't park on ramps unless I have to and the other because it is illegal here and AR and a few other states, hear that George.RebelChick, jungHo and YardDart Thank this. -

I will be so glad when the new trucks come in. This will make 6 times in the shop in 6 weeks. Most of it was quick fixes where it was fixed while I was on break
It has not effected my miles yet than the Lord. Bur I still love my truck and so far abilene has exceeded my expectations. -
So I get to customer at 0130 am so glad I did. Had to blind side to park beside the building. They have no docks. And im parked just under the front part of a under ground garage. I thank the God even in times like these where I'm in downtown Chicago and he still provides me a place to park this 72 foot green Machine. So going to take a 4 hour nap cant wait to see thier plan to off loaded me. Good thing is its only two pieces that make one cooler. Nite all. Thanks again Lord.
RebelChick, jungHo, paul_4lp and 1 other person Thank this.
