After the bumps in the road you've been dealing with recently, it's nice to hear there's some good news (replacement fridge)!

JohnBoy Thanks this. -
Loosing the use of the fridge is more of a problem then loosing the use of the armrest. At least with the armrest the pretty pink duct tape took care of that, I don't know what to do for the fridge.
They are calling for 3 inches of snow here in central Nebraska. Sunday in this same area it was. 72 and sunny. -
Wish I had a fridge to complain about. Been thinking of getting a cooler but with the small sleeper and being home a couple times during the week I will go without one until the new trucks start coming in. Then I will invest in one but as far down the totem pole that I am it might take a year or two to get the truck. Anyhow glad you made it thru the weather and you and your new driver have a safe trip and enjoy the scenery.

Was it an older couple? I had a swap one time with a couple like that. Didn't speak to me at all. Rather rude. I can't imagine there is more than one team like that here. Most of our drivers are so friendly.

He was there. He was the guy who did the newsletter and he was a salesman for them. A real PITA. No personality at all. After Kurtis retired, he took over. Maybe Abilene has a method to their madness in putting him there. Don't know. I probably wouldn't have pursued the company if he had been there. Makes you wonder.runningman0661 Thanks this.

It isn't just Abilene. Many companies have rude recruiters. I guess talking to so many drivers everyday burns them out. Companies should recruit friendly recruiters.
runningman0661 and The Challenger Thank this. -
Oh no thats not good
Hopefully u can rin s load with one of the loaners. My husbf2f e and has the truck that the shop was thinking the ac was out in it so it was a loaner while truck was in shop. Well the truck he was assigned needed work so he just stay in that truck.
