hayward ca. kind od messed up today. when picked up the load, compare delivery place to dispatch on qc. just looked at name and city and didnt look at street. went to adress on qc dispatch and put me in a resident. one side of street commercial and other houses. address i had was a house lol. "then!" i looked at address and said to deliver to another place lol. all good though, only 5 miles away. that the reason i like to show up an hour early to my p/u and del.

Headed south on US-23 near the MI/OH border.
Unloaded at my last stop in Holland, MI and there was a goose guarding the door and wouldn't let me in, I had to scoot it to the side with my foot so I could walk in the door. Apparently the target employees feed it every morning and it won't go away until it gets food.
Swapped drivers just a few moments ago and we are headed back to Columbus for another load headed to Chicago. Not exactly a fan of chi-town in a big truck but the miles aren't bad and the pay is good so I guess I can put up with a couple of Chicago runs to be closer to home than TX.
We told the on-site manager we are staying with them so I guess we are now officially based out of the Ohio DC. They just built this refer dc not that long ago and all the trailers are brand spankin new so that is another plus. I checked the hours on the refer when I returned it yesterday and it only had 77 hrs! -

Weatherford, TX. Thanks to my DM, I am quite stacked up from Friday afternoon until Tuesday. After mt in morning, shoot over to Arlington, TX to pu a 6K load and take to London, KY and drop Saturday afternoon, then down to TN and pu a load of fridges and take to Sears in Jacksonville, FL and drop on Monday and then pu right there at Unilever and take to MS for a Tuesday Drop. feels good to not have to worry.

Sitting at the DC waiting for my load to cut, came in early for a safety meeting and for the site manager to tell me a good job done, he said we are one of 2 target fleets that are showing profit out of 12. I have to drive a Volvo sleeper tonight to take a load to Modesto then get a backhaup from general mills then head over to Lathrop to get my truck that another driver took to the shop for a bservice for me on my days off. It feels so strange driving the Volvo just in the yard after being so used to my cascadia.

Loves in Carlisle, PA...
Dropped earlier today in Belmont, MD and then picked up in New Jersey and heading to Cicero, IL.
Man I like that Delaware Memorial Bridge. -
Rhome, TX, at the Love's. First thunderstorm of the year ( for me). I think I'm the ONLY one here who's not idling.
Deliver tomorrow in Irving then headed to Waco for a load to Colorado Springs.
