full set with air lines $500 plus install....(others are cheaper) mine requier 4 hub bolts be remover/restalled per wheel to install the mount for the cover... you must carry a socket to remove the hub bolts if you have a flat....
most O/O's don't want to pay the upfrount price..... or don't like the way they look.... but if you can spend $500 on something and you don't have you don't have to change the way you drive that will give you better mpg...... -
The big reason you see trailer belly pans, side skirts, while tails is its a epa thing in California. As for wheel covers it's all a relatively new deal, Schneider has tried 3 different versions. But in past 6 months I'm seeing more OO adding them, seeing them at Walcott 80. Hell I have dust covers over my pads can't even inspect them.

Was that 5% average or peak? Do you know the testing parameters? 5% peak is nothing to be concerned about, but 5% average in stop & go or a long hill could be quite a bit higher peak temps, that might be a concern.
Just curious, I can't find much info on it. -
the covers Mesilla Valley and Schneiders use have no vents

yeah, MV has them, also heard they're getting ready to put wings on those prostars so they can fly...there's a point where you can go too far with trying to squeeze every mpg out of a truck, and they've clearly passed it.

The best way to really increase your mileage is to just drive downhill all the time. If you only drive downhill your economy will skyrocket.

This is one of those fuel mileage add ons that is hard to measure, but 1/10th mpg here and another 1/10th mpg there all add up and eventually you have real money maker 9 to 10+ mpg truck.
Fuel cost is by far the biggest expense in trucking and to ignore that cost is a very poor business plan. When you are paying more for fuel every week than you pay yourself, you need to do a reality check on your operation and stop making fun of those fuel saving devices by using them too. -
But it's more fun to complain about the price of fuel!

Can't believe it would amount to anything. Put a roof fairing on mine and didn't make an ounce of difference. Besides it covers up my favorite shiny part of a truck.
