I had to look to see where Freightliner was ....only one exit down from KW so I know where that is. I just looked at the reviews ....call me when you get hungry, I'll make a food run! :biggrin_25522:

I thought I was going to have to track you down today so that Patty could go rescue the King and take him food.....he was in downtown Chicago. Detours, narrow streets, people walking in the middle of the streets.

Kind of funny, uh? He is there and you are here!

Wow is all I can say about signing a new lease agreement again. I think I was charged about $1,000 in work today but the good news is I think they goofed cause my payments went down $25 a week it was $600 and now it reads $575. Hope they stick to it cause I will call about that. I hate this DEF stuff that was all this work stuff today plus new used steer tires, they said they give all these trucks wheel alignments before you lease(yeah right this thing has been pulling right since day 1) so my steers were worn funny the guy said the ones I got were only 1/32 worn out. 6 more months till I am done here, I can hang but wow between today and the APU getting fixed Monday these next 2 checks will stink. I hope I get a new victim(I mean student) Thursday. I go home May 6th can't wait then out till August then I will complete lease and move on. Trucking is tough sometimes not just this company but all are.

Sitting in a rest are just beyond Higginsville heading east on 70 on may way to Charlotte for deliver 0001 Monday.

    Be safe out there

I have had three trucks assigned to me by TransAm. All three had some type of problem that required down time and paying a mechanic to get involved for emissions regen AND APU issues. Some minor, some major but all three trucks needed service for both at one time or another in the 1 year I drove for TransAm.

Uh oh......Aren't they working on your truck?

I am getting a late start today and still working on pouring enough coffee into my bloodstream to become human. Couldn't sleep last night, started reading a book, then couldn't sleep til I finished it..... it was ....ummmm...about 5 am when I went to sleep. It might take 2 pots of coffee to get me to a coherent state!:biggrin_25526:
