Gary Petro. Unload in University Park in the AM, load in Pleasant Prairie, then off to Gas City. Wind was insane today on 80. Thought it blew my XM antenna away at one point.

 

This whole week the winds been horrible in the Midwest.

No doubt about that being a Mini...if I decide to do the trucking thing that is where I will probably park the truck/trailer. Only live about 2 miles from there, and their food is pretty good too for the most part.

Picked up a rider in Lexington, fellow Roehlie who's truck was down for the count. Gave him a lift back to Gary for a loaner. Of course we get there at midnight and the previous drive is still in the truck and fast asleep. So, said rider got a hotel room for the night and I got to camp out at Gary! The terminal was loaded with trucks, every row to the west of the building was packed! I parked in the very last row, in the very last open spot! Lucky me! In any case got a good nights rest and made it home this AM, hope Randy did too!

 

I made it from New Hampshire to the TA exit 29 I 80. I had to stop on 81 and grab a two hour nap I was seeing double. Its all good now got a shower and a meal its nite nite time.

 

At Gary. Stopped for fuel and a truck wash. My seven days off went too fast.
