I am updating our experiences with lone mountain as well. We got our truck in late Jan. but we have started to have issues with it. Twice in the past week we have broken down because of an "electrical fault" that pops up. The first time at a fuel stop after we had fueled up. Today it happened while we were driving. Very nervous right now..... The warranty only applies to engine.... I hope this isn't a lemon.....

so what fault popped up and what happened when it did? have you stopped to get it looked at?? -
I have an entire thread posted about it. Got some mechanics to look at from a truck stop. We were down for about an hour today. Mechanics hooked a computer to it and couldn't find anything useful. In the end they said it was an ECM issue. They changed some kind of fuse that they thought was affecting the ECM and about 10 mins later it started back up.
What kept popping up on the module was electrical fault, abs module, gen trans.
We personally don't think nothing major is wrong with it. I did some research and so their was some recalls for our model. We will be taking it to an international dealership when we can to see what they think is going on. -
They're nice trucks to drive, but apparently they're not good from a maintenance standpoint.rockyroad74 and ShelbyKay Thank this. -
Thank you so much. We have had issues with it three times in last week. We have agreed that we made a mistake in buying this particular truck. We had no idea that they were having such issues. Should've known though when we got it from Lone Mountain Leasing and said they couldn't give us maintenance papers because of "lawsuit" purposes. This auto trans has been an issue from the getgo so we are definitely not afraid to take it back to Lone Mountain and see what they are going to do about it. They mentioned fixing things if things go went wrong with it. But we are both wondering if Lone Mountain would apply all the money we have spent on this truck (monthly payments and down payment) towards a different truck. That is probably wishful thinking though.

My question to everyone is why are yall buying used trucks for 50,000+ plus interest when Lone Mountain is paying half that and buying these trucks from companies for 25,000? Why not just save 1,000 for 27 months and buy a truck from some big box company. That's what I would be. I know for a fact that Roehl and Prime sell their used trucks usually 3 years old and the clean them up pretty good for 25,000. Those trucks usually come with the upgrades too like a apu and inverter. I'm just wondering. Maybe I'm just cheap and don't want to pay no one any interest rate. Both companies provide main. records and fix everything that's wrong with the trucks before they sell them.

did you do an independent inspection and get a dyno and ecm report done before you bought the truck or did you sign the waiver that you were offered this and declined? -
and there are many threads on this website describing problems with 2009 trucks, and many many problems with sensors and stuff on automatics.
