Worked for papal johns.they're the exact same way. 25 to 30 hours straight driving or unloading.
Digging ditches is easier than the pizza routes!

makes sense , since the owner of papa johns was a executive at dominos. Gotta love those trays

You know, the ongoing joke there is that we only refer our enemies to work there, since we know they will be treated like crap.
all kidding aside, right before I started there, it was super hard to get in, no one left, you basically had to wait for someone to retire....now they they can't retain drivers....it sucks that there is this good job that you can easily make over $100,000 yr....Be home every night, good benefits, matching 401k, employee stock discount.....and still feel like it's not worth it....... Because you have horrible management, and trust me, I've got some thick freaking skin...the proof is in the super high turnover rate, past and current lawsuits against management, and how many people I've seen have to take stress leave, a couple currently out now on it

I've come to the conclusion that they don't care. I'm assuming that because the "numbers" are good HQ is content and happy.
for all the lawsuits I've seen happen there, and all the other stuff that I've wrote above...... The only explanation is that HQ just turns a blind eye to it.

i for one am done, quit, went to a different company (not food service) that I have yet to find a driver there have anything bad to say about the work or mngt.

Wow, what a breath of fresh air being with a company that respects their mngt...and vise versa....unlike at Dominos Distribution where the drivers smile, say hi to mngt and walk away muttering...f'n as........(you get the idea. Lol). Not to mention the constant dilemma of doing the right thing hrs doing the thing that won't get you in trouble
they have a really strict accuracy policy, nothing wrong with that, they pay good, and expect you to get 100% every load.
The problem with that is, I've seen countless times from new drivers to veterans spill over a stack of dough or bread on the trailer floor... For whatever reason....now the right thing to do would be to toss it, and write up a credit, but. Since that ends up going on the driver as a mis delivery( they have a board that they have all the drivers names with there miss deliveries, avg driver delivers about 400,000 pcs a yr...over 65 pieces a yr miss delivered is unexceptable and will be noted on your yearly review)
so, that being said, what do you think happens? Yep, you guessed it. There is a reason why I don't eat dominos and neither does my family n freinds. Anyhow. I'm through posting on here, moved on, putting dominos distribution and it's bad memories behind me

Shoot, tried to drop it, if anyone is interested in some of the things I would consider to be unsanitary at the stores.... Just ask

Well, I have to say the commissary where they make the dough and store food is pretty clean.

one practice that I don't agree with is at the end of the night when they clean the make line all the cheese, pepperoni , veggies, pineapple, black olives pizza sauce....that fall in the area under where they make pizzas is separated as best as can, and reused.

there is a store in glen avon, in Riverside, Ca. That , and I am not exaggerating, when you enter the store after hours, and turn on the lights, you have to wait for the roaches to clear before you can walk in. The only other place I've seen anything like it is on T.V.

Dominos store 8270. Northridge Ca. Bad rodent problem, seen 2 big rats, store has drop ceiling, you can here them scurrying around up there, the empty dough trays always have rat droppings and urine in them, even had another store tell me that they would NEVER, borrow food from them if they were to run out

    Bump......

Looks like So Ca dominos upper mngt also saw that a change was needed.

When lend guys out to other commissaries, and pull them to the side, and tell them you expect them to "keep how other commissaries are run" to yourself, you don't think drivers talk?

Im no big fan of Unions, spent 14 yrs or so with one, but I do believe some companies are still in need of it

Wow....I worked for GSF (Golden State Foods ) for 33 years and retired in 2011.....I'll say this they were way different about things....guess I was lucky. Some food service companies are only concerned with 1 thing ...money....not people just the $$$$$$

They're very concerned with their customers, Tony.
Customers are transportation devices for wallets --- full of money.
From which some food establishments expertly extract a hefty amount
of legal tender in exchange for an inferior product.
But it only hurts when the customer knows the truth.
That can leave a bad taste in a customer's mouth. :puke::pukeleft::smt092:smt091
