What the mininum per mile as a Owner/Operator?

He's going backwards and then some digging into his pocket to stay afloat. Unless his truck is getting 25 to 30 miles to the gallon he's not making any money! Its impossible to keep anything after fuel and tolls!

I'm not too sure who your talking about when you say all these guys I tried to reply to the first person on the blog but it wouldn't post correctly so I tried again same problem. The guy said someone runs for 85 cents a mile and yes I can't see anyone making money with that rate, fuel , tolls , maintenance ins what is the profit margin with that sort of rate ? Just can't see how anyone could take that little.
