:sign2: :smt021 I'm not hammering ALL newbies....There are a bunch of great new hands out there. The problem is that the scrotes way out number them now days.If you reread the original post and haven't seen that exact scenario played out in a truck stop in the last week or so you have either lucked out or paid at the fuel island and rolled on without going inside .

It would seem that what we are seeing in the truckstops is just a reflection of what is happening to our whole country. I work around alot of guys ten to fifteen years younger than me. I would say at least 80% of them have zero pride in the work they do, and almost no thought about the consequences of their actions. It scares the hell out of me to think what our country is gonna be like in twenty years. :biggrin_25513:

I'm a 100% in agreement with you. There's so few "CRAFTSMEN" of any trade left now that it IS truly scary. It's going to come down to where about the only thing you can get anybody to do is make you a frozen burger in the microwave and charge you for a grilled steak.

I wouldnt worry about it. I have a sneaky feeling that one day we will face some serious crisis on a nationwide scale. And all the slackers are gonna starve to death(probably waiting in an empty supermarket or McDonalds). The Katrina disaster leads me to believe that most of those fools will have no clue how to survive in a world where there is no one to make decisions for them or hand them their next meal. It appears to me that the Trucking industry is one of those few remaining bastions of folks that like self reliance and personal responsibility. But after sayin that, this post is an indicator that the "barbarians" are at the gates. :biggrin_25510:
