Lol, it is different for them. Missing games and holidays and such. Heck, our 6 year old used to HAVE to have Daddy tuck him in everynight lol. Takes some time to adjust for all. How long has your husband been doing it?

 

Over 4 years, going on 5, we are still getting used to it! Sounds funny and sad, doesn't it? But we don't want to ever get used to him being gone all of the time and I definitely don't want him getting used to being gone! I try to make sure that he has everything he needs to live comfortably while he is out there doing his job, but that he always knows that his real life is here.

I have been thinking about this ....and probably shouldn't say it ....but it just has to be said .......Pete, I bet this is the first time you have ever compared any woman to a dog and she considered it a compliment!

 

And speaking of herding everyone into the right corner .....I am concerned about honeybadger.....it has been 5 days since she has posted on the forum anywhere. Has anyone seen her online or heard from her?
