You are looking for an equipment solution for a lack of skills proficiency issue
In general an automatic will do the job, however a computer is not a human and only makes its decisions based on the information it has...engine rpm & throttle position. It can not see advancing terrain, terrain conditions (mud, ice, snow, crap, or asphalt), and make more advanced decisions. A good operator doing, or wanting to do HH, should not be shock loading the driveline.
