Well,Pam and Prime are out. You're better off with the smaller companies that will take on a "noob" as you call it.I can say the "fun" wears off really quick when you're constantly driving( out all the time for extended periods.Try to find a company that will actually pay you, without burning you out.It took me 6 years to get a good gig with a balance of good pay ,home 5 days a week, and some physical unloading, but not exhausting.Ive heard WEL is decent. Dont know about the others. Steer clear of Prime and Pam. Also steer clear of CRST,JB HUNT,England,Knight and Werner. Jmo . Hope this helps.

Schneider Bulk doesn't require experience, but does require a CDL school and in your case maybe a refresher course.

Also look at these & they all hire new CDL graduates even though the website may show otherwise:

    Trimac
    CTL Transportation
    SVTN
    H.O. Wolding
    Navajo
    Melton Truck Lines

SRT & WEL look OK from your list.

Abilene Motor Express in Richmond hires new CDL graduates.

I started as a new driver one year ago with Abilene Motor Express. I think they are an excellent choice. It's a mix of dry van and reefer. I can't speak for your list, but you might want to add Abilene to it.

Im not very good at suggesting companies. My first company was not that great and I try to keep my current company out of discussion, not that they're bad folks, but just in case.
Given your age (no offense) make sure you have any BP and blood sugar issues under control. As well as sleep apnea. Companies and the DOT are real sticklers about that.
Your kids are grown I know but what about grandkids, your wife? you will still miss stuff either way.
Invest in good footwear, I tend to preach it around here but I do so for a reason.
But in all seriousness enjoy yourself, take your job serious and your self not so much.
