Stopped at the truck parking area in Cumby, TX. Had to detour around ranger hill, apparently a big truck and a 4 wheeler tangled and shut down the whole eastbound side.
Got the grand tour of Breckenridge, Mineral Wells and Weatherford. I can now die a happy man....TruckDuo Thanks this. -
Saw another accident at the picnic area at the 10/20 junction earlier. Big truck came off the interstate, and either dozed off or lost his brakes, sheared the right side of his trailer off on a parking lot, knocking a car off the top, then came to rest against the right side of a parked trailer. Crap from the trailer was everywhere.

That wreck was a mess, seen pics online earlier. Looked like a can opener went postal on that trailer.

I was in Iowa at the time , sat for 2 hrs because a truck decided to roll over , well the truck didn't do it on its own . The driver decided it was a good place to give his truck a nap.
Illinois rest area now. After seeing all the wreaked up trucks last night , I may never park in a truck stop again. -
Haven't posted here in I think the last 4 days. Lotsa tight windows and multiple drops last week. So close to home...yet so far. South SF pick up this afternoon/evening/midnight. Hucking a load to Phoenix. Canada is starting to get above freezing so I must fly south for.....the summer? Yeah my girl and I even have a name for it. I-10 season.
Also while I'm sitting thinking. Who designed the cup holders on the Pete 386. Seriously its all the way to the right #### near on the floor. I have to reach around the shifter to use it. The other option is the one on the floor next to the passenger seat. Which in a narrow cab Pete means I trip on it every time I move. What is a thirsty guy to do.Last edited: Apr 7, 2014
