You have to use lighter duty flasher, or buy one for LED's at one of the chrome shops, or truck parts stores. They don't pull enough current to make the heavy duty ones flash.

The standard issue is a thermal flasher (requires load to initiate flash)
What you need is an electronic flasher (will flash with no load)..

Follow the clicking sound... Usually near the fuse panel..

That would be the clicking sound that isn't there because the lights/flasher are not flashing, right?Cranky Yankee Thanks this.

I put the regular bulbs back in when I seen they wouldn't flash. Guess I'll find the flasher first and then swap the LEDs in.
